Managing your attachments in Notesnook

Notesnook makes it easy to manage the attachments in your account.

Opening the attachment manager

The attachment manager allows you to view all the attachments in your account, and easily allows you to perform bulk actions on attachments in your account (like deleting or downloading).

  1. Open Notesnook Settings
  2. In the Profile section, there should be a section named Attachments, select the Open button in that section.
  3. The attachment manager is now open, and here you can view all the attachments in your Notesnook account.

How do I permanently delete an attachment?

Removing an attachment from your note doesn’t permanently delete it. It’s still present in your account.

  1. Open the attachment manager
  2. Select the attachments you want to delete.
  3. Click on the trash can at the top of the attachment manager.
  4. Confirm the delete.

What is an “Orphaned” attachment?

An Orphaned attachment is an attachment that is not attached to any notes. Attachments in the orphaned section are safe to delete with minimal risk of data loss.

What does the storage usage represent?

The storage usage represents your monthly upload limit for files only, it does not take into account note length. It resets every month on the first.

What if I run out of monthly storage?

You will not be able to upload more files until the storage quota resets on the first.
